Things that I will say here will step on the toes of most everyone that reads it, because most everyone today has been seduced into believing that the things I am speaking against are indeed good things, or at the very least "OK" things.  But before I say anything I will give a bit of a background of myself.

Since I was young I had been interested in the fantasy realms, probably stuff by C.S. Lewis to start with, tried reading Tolkien at a suggestion but it was to slow of a read at the time so I didn't read that till years later. Got very much into Terry Brooks and through him, Robert Jordan(who was my fav out of them all) David Eddings, Terry Goodkind, R.A. Salvatore(who is heavy into dungeons and dragons) and then followed JK Rowling and some of the newer magic centered fantasy novels...  I also was a very big fan of the Blade movies(1 and 2 were some of my fav movies of all time) and other vampire movies, never got into the books so much, but didn't have a problem with em...   I have read all the Harry Potter Books on average of probably 3ish times each, The Salvatore novels I owned maybe 2-3 times each, Jordan and Goodkind were my favs and I figure maybe around 3-5 times each book(and thats over 10 books per author and each book has 400-900+ pages)  And I had spent probably in the $700+ range on all the books.  I tell you that to show that I LOVED them and poured countless hundreds of hours into them and so I am not writing what I do as someone who has never read might n magic/fantasy, but as one who is getting washed of that stuff as I type...  I just recently burned all my favorite books(and now that I read Acts 19:19 I found out what I did was even scriptural) and was happy to find out that it was easier then I thought so I know God had been preparing me for it these past few months to a year and has begun the healing.

Now for the parts people wont like so much...  I have been seeking out God more and more and thus been removing things in my life that He hates and trying to surrender myself to Him completely and through that I have had to throw away clothes, DVDs and Music(I deleted and destroyed far more music and movies then I thought I would have, on account of it not glorifying God and effecting my life)  I also have been watching society and Christian society more so to see what we are opening ourselves too...  The one that got me more recently was when I was told that I looked like a certain Edward Cullen from the Twilight movie, and so I watched it and felt disgustingly drawn to watching it(I wish I hadn't wasted my time finishing it but oh well) and also disgusted by it at the same time.  It seems to be one of the bigger raves amongst the young adults now.  Everyone is drawn to it and sadly that includes Christians who should know better...

But like Harry Potter and other occult novels and movies like it, Twilight has gone under the radar of most...  Typical reason is the same one for H.P. Books and films.  "Its not real"  There are other even more horrendous reasons like "The Gospel can be preached through it" or "Its good magic fighting bad magic so its just like Good(God) fighting evil(satan)"(which by the way God isn't fighting satan, He has already won we are just watching the story unfold and doing our best to obey God in our own lives) or whatever the latest baseless reason for giving into witchcraft and wickedness is.  I remember recently after the latest H.P. Movie came out I went to check a review of it on a Christian review site(sad that they gave it good reviews) and just watching a couple clips and reading the review I could feel an unnatural pull to want to watch the movie and go read all the books(and this was prior to my bonfire, hehe I put a new meaning to Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire!)  Same with Twilight, I watched half of it and had to leave and felt a sick NEED to go finish it.  Which I did now to my regret.

So whats up with all these new Vampire movies or witchcraft and magic centered movies/books?  All aimed toward the youth?  Each of them generally becoming a craze amongst almost everyone but the youth seem to like them the most...  I mean they have cute guys and cute girls in them and they are being romantic plus they have a supernatural draw to them making the viewers start to wish they were more like the characters...  Now if the character was Jesus that would be fabulous!  People wanting to be like Jesus and cant wait for the next movie teaching them about Jesus to come out, that right there seems like a fantasy to me.  I have to admit, when I was into the occult books and movies I would fantasize about having those powers and living in a land of magic winning the damsel in distress with my swordplay(and now sort of through swordplay *and by sword I mean the Word hehehe* God helped me win an amazing damsel)  Or have uber half-vampire strength and speed with a wicked cool sword to go mow down vamps and ash em to death(those that know Blade know what I am talking bout) so I understand that interest in those things

But more so now then ever do I have a sick feeling when I see that draw, for I know it is wickedness dressed like a lamb.  Harmless looking cause "its just a cute love story" or "its just a bunch of kids" GAG!   So I got the urge to start looking at the BIBLE(which all Christians should do) to find out what IT says about such things...  I knew a little bout witchcraft but not much bout vampires(or consuming blood to be specific)  Which with the help of an amazing program called Xiphos I was able to quickly search out the verses with "Blood" in them.  Many having to do with sacrifice in the OT and then the NT has mostly to do with Christ's Blood(and when it talks about drinking its not like what vampires do)
I will give a list of most of the verses that mention consuming blood as negative at the bottom of all this but for now I will share full verses of a few eye openers...

Leviticus 7:26-27

26 Moreover you shall not eat any blood in any of your dwellings, whether of bird or beast. 27 Whoever eats any blood, that person shall be cut off from his people.

Leviticus 17:10-14

10 'And whatever man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell among you, who eats any blood, I will set My face against that person who eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people. 11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.' 12 Therefore I said to the children of Israel, 'No one among you shall eat blood, nor shall any stranger who dwells among you eat blood.'
13 "Whatever man of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell among you, who hunts and catches any animal or bird that may be eaten, he shall pour out its blood and cover it with dust; 14 for it is the life of all flesh. Its blood sustains its life. Therefore I said to the children of Israel, 'You shall not eat the blood of any flesh, for the life of all flesh is its blood. Whoever eats it shall be cut off.'

Deuteronomy 12:23-25

23 Only be sure that you do not eat the blood, for the blood is the life; you may not eat the life with the meat. 24 You shall not eat it; you shall pour it on the earth like water. 25 You shall not eat it, that it may go well with you and your children after you, when you do what is right in the sight of the LORD.

The previous verses show that God doesn't want us to consume blood and even says that He will set His face against those that do so and that it will be better for us and our children if we refrain from doing so...

I Samuel 14:32-34

32 And the people rushed on the spoil, and took sheep, oxen, and calves, and slaughtered them on the ground; and the people ate them with the blood. 33 Then they told Saul, saying, "Look, the people are sinning against the LORD by eating with the blood!"
So he said, "You have dealt treacherously; roll a large stone to me this day." 34 Then Saul said, "Disperse yourselves among the people, and say to them, 'Bring me here every man's ox and every man's sheep, slaughter them here, and eat; and do not sin against the LORD by eating with the blood.'" So every one of the people brought his ox with him that night, and slaughtered it there.

Samuel shows that it is a sin against God to consume blood...

Acts 15:29

29 that you abstain from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality.[a] If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well.  Farewell.

In Acts in seems we are supposed to abstain from sexual immorality and things offered to idols, and Christians seem to think its a good thing to do that so it would only seem proper to say the same thing bout consuming raw blood eh?  Not today I guess :(

Revelation 17:4-6

4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication.[b] 5 And on her forehead a name was written:

MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
6 I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.

Revelations shows a good picture of the only person I could find in the Bible who was drunk on blood, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS.   "Twilight, Starring THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS" has a catchy name no?

Not to mention that Vampirism is based on lust and other evils, and pretty much every Christian knows what the Bible says bout that...
Ok, so why is it that so many Christians are being duped by what seems to be something God hates?  Well an easy answer could be,
  1st Timothy 4:1
1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons
Now of course Christians wont want to admit that, because they would be saying they're falling away from their faith...  Which maybe they haven't fallen from their faith, but they are indeed giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons...  Doctrine means a teaching, learning or instruction.  So something that teaches that consuming blood or witchcraft/sorcery is OK as long as you are doing it for the "good" side or as long as you are a cute mesmerizing guy or girl equals a doctrine of DEMONS.

Now I will steal some quotes from Chuck Colson who surprisingly wasn't too fond of the film, seeing as he embraced Harry Potter saying it can be used as a gateway for C.S. Lewis's Narnia series which I will delve into later on how that contains occult wickedness and should not be read either.  Sounds crazy since he is considered one of the most well known Christian authors and the Narnia series is sold at most every Christian bookstore and most every Christian considers them to be "Christian/Godly" books/movies.  But when you learn more about the occult and what is in his books and his background even, not to mention what the BIBLE says about such things.  You may change your views...  Anyways thats for part two, here's the quotes for anyone who is a Christian and still thinks Twilight is a "good" movie.

Chuck:
"It is not romantic, or safe, when a boy spies on you, follows you, and sneaks into your room without your knowledge (and especially without your parents' knowledge).

It is not romantic, or safe, when someone tells you he's dangerous and he's killed people, to give answers like, "It doesn't matter," and, "I'm not afraid." Again, I've worked with repentant murderers in prison. I know firsthand that redemption is possible for them. But that doesn't mean that what they've done doesn't matter.
It is not romantic, or safe, to try to see how close you and your boyfriend can get to the edge of danger without going over.

And it is not romantic, or safe, to offer yourself up for a boy to do whatever he wants to you—symbolized in the movie by the young heroine asking the vampire to bite her so she can become like him."

So what's so redeeming about this movie(the more I dissect it the worse it gets!)?  Nothing, its a clever movie influenced by satan to further dilute our belief of what God says is right or wrong.

   Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

My dear brothers and sisters(it seems that the sisters are being more affected by this film so I may be speaking more to you, but brothers you must protect your sisters/wives/girlfriends/etc so if they cant see it then we must exhort each other according to Hebrews 3:13) please repent and ask God to help release yourselves from this wickedness!  This kind of media is slowly opening the minds of this generation to wickedness and abominations which will take them further and further away from God creating strongholds in their minds to keep them from either finding Christ or growing in Him.

Also I speak these things not because I have somehow stopped sinning or closed myself from every evil thing(and am vain or condemning), I still need God to heal me of things, but I am just reporting what I have found so as it may open your eyes to the acceptance of evil that is slowly creeping into the minds and hearts of not only unsaved people who don't know how destructive these things are, but also into the minds and hearts of Christians who were tricked into allowing these doctrines of demons to penetrate their hearts.  Please do not let yourselves befriend this wickedness...  James 4:4

That is all for tonight, I will get part two out soon hopefully.  But it is a bit harder for me since I was never a fan of Twilight and part two I will be attacking what I once loved...  I would ask that if you wish to make comments please send me a personal message so as I don't have comment wars going on within my note, and if you are not a Christian and disagree with what I say please don't message me, for I am not here to argue theology and if you're a Christian who wants to argue, make sure you have verses to back up your desire to have interest in things God hates(I assure you though that they don't exist)  Below are the verses regarding blood consumption.

Genesis 9:4
Leviticus 7:26-27
Leviticus 17:10-14
